"By far one of the worst customer…"
By far one of the worst customer service providers.
Bought a brand new car on PCP in 2019 and my experience was a mix of being misled by wrong information, no interest in resolving issues, delay in delivery, lack/ late and inadequate response to Emails and careless attitude about you as customer.
Highlights:

1- Certain items such as body protection was included in the agreement signed in the showroom. A day or two later received an Email asking me to resign the form. All the agreed additions were removed from the list without being mentioned in the Email.
2- I was given a wrong information on service interval. I had to do twice more than what I was promised .
3- Tried to get a resolution, Emails were not replied to. Official complaint remained unattended.
4- Visited the show room after a year when service alert was on again. Sales man kept diverting the discussion to discussions about my family, weather, work. Like I was there to socialize . In the end I was told he will do nothing for me despite agreeing with being given wrong information. I think he came to know that I wont be fooled :)
5- Sold 4 years terms and 3 years warranty. When asked about the last 12 months. I was told that leasing company will have to keep me on the road so there will be no problem. Another lie later on I came to know when I had an issue after year 3. Again they do not care. In a calm manner they washed their shoulder.
6- Towards end of term received a call to visit the show room and receive a new offer and look at the options. Appointment was booked. Arrived with my daughter on-time. I was told that we need to wait as the salesman is finishing with the previous customer. One hour later they said we need to leave as the next customer will arrive and they do not have time for us. I was asked to book another appointment.
Of course you do not give people to treat you so unfairly and unprofessionally forever, do you? So stopped dealing with them.

"I had a problem with my 4 series and is…"
I had a problem with my 4 series and is well known now due to a drain plug issue. This is well documented and should have been recalled by BMW years ago. Due to this fault the window regulator has now gone and I have had to shell out another £500 for their poor design. Frustratingly I emailed BMW who have taken 5 and a half weeks to reply. They might be willing to look at a goodwill gesture IF I take it to BMW. I had the car repaired weeks ago by a reputable indy. Totally useless service, email and offer. Will not ever buy a BMW again after having over 14 years of owning them.

"Was mis-sold a car which when raised as…"
Was mis-sold a car which when raised as a complaint against the dealership through BMW financial they mad up an in accurate value to get out of paying monies owed for miss selling the car in the first place.
The value of the car is no where near what the dealer would've bought the car for or indeed the actually market value, they have done this to make it look like i was getting a deal and had fair use and cost of the car rather than paying the finance money back after return the car to them. Can always trust BMW UK and BMW financial to slip out of a sticky situation by fraudulently fixing the figures to suit themselves.

"10 months waiting for a part. SHOCKING"
10 months waiting for an amplifier replacement for my BMW X5M.
Shocking after care when you spend £50k in a car not to mention the fact that 2 years ago we spent £5k repairing the panoramic roof and now is again faulty.
You call parts (Partridge Chandlers Ford) and simply they cannot answer the phone or return your voicemails.
Big cross on bmw...never again.

"Absolutely atrocious service"
Absolutely atrocious service, I was told to bring my 1 series to Dick Lovett Bristol as the timing chain had gone on an N47 engine (very common fault as any Google search would confirm) and the advisors will work out a reasonable solution rather than usual service charges. I was given 2 options... either have a new engine at £12,500 or have them strip the engine and just replace the timing chain at £4,500 but this cost will go up if there's any fault such as piston damage etc (basically saying they're going to add extra cost that in itself could exceed the new engine cost) ... their "goodwill" as I was previously advised on if taking it directly to them was if the car was only still in warranty... so not good will... now having to add extra cost to retrieve the car from them again and no better off

"Very poor post sale service"
I bought my car KX18AJS on 18.03.2023 from Vines of Gatwick dealer, initial customer service was ok. My car was delivered to me on time. On the day of delivery I noticed car makes funny noise on bumps, stopping at traffic lights, during braking, in sharp bends. However the noises are inconsistent, it does not always make the noise in above situation, however it does makes noises at least 20-30 times during a 10 minutes town driving. Also its miles/gallon is very inconsistent, for example in a full tank- initially it shows you will get 287 miles, during town driving with sports mode/comfort mode, practically at best I get 80-90 miles, this is a big mismatch. I am not sure whether there is any relationship between the funny noise and fuel consumption.

I called Vines, e-mailed Vines and what's upped with the proof of noise recording. A very polite gentleman Bhaven collected the car for investigations and delivered back stating car would not make noise in sports mode. Car continues to make noises.

I informed Bhaven again by e-mail on 07.04.23 that the car continues to make funny noises. I am yet to receive a reply in last three weeks.
Post sale service is very disappointing. Their Engineer is extremely substandard, not able to diagnose the cause of obvious noises is not acceptable . Not replying to my last e-mail is negligence.

Most unfortunately BMW blocked my review on 29.04.23, they asked during submission -was I sure to rate 2 out of 5, I said yes. When submitted it error message came up. I thought error was real and When I tried to resubmit my review I received following message-‘response has already been submitted ‘and to edit I need survey ID. I did not receive an e-mail confirmation stating receiving the survey or receiving the survey ID . Hence I could not do survey , may be they just accept excellent surveys. It may be an attempt to block unpleasant survey.

Someone from BM is looking into it let’s see if anything comes from it?

"Be very careful buying a Used Approved…"
Be very careful buying a Used Approved BMW and the claims they make on the checks to vehicle. We bought one and it turns out it has a the wrong windscreen in it that menas the scuttle plate can't attach properly. We expected the dealer and BMW to fix this but have been told by BMW that they can sell these cars without the correct windscreen. It seems amazing after the claims they make of the security in buying from BMW Approved Used stock. There is a gap between the scuttle plate and the winsccreen that water and leaves go down...and they say that BMW windscreens are part of the cars structural rigidity...but apparently that doesn't matter if you buy a used one from them!

"Connected XL Package"
I bought a manufacturer approved 5 Series on 16 November. 12 months BMW warranty as part of the deal. In February they requested £89 for Connected XL package. I paid, but requested refund. Surely the package should be free during the warranty. The dealer (Stratstone Derby) agreed with me. BMW say the package is only free for 3 years from BUILD DATE. This date has no relevance to the retail customer. After 9 weeks of emails to Customer Service I have made no progress concerning a refund.

"Chose and bought my BMW from Vines in…"
Chose and bought my BMW from Vines in Crawley and then arrived at the date and time to collect. The sales person was busy with a customer that had no appointment. I was made to wait 45 minutes before I insisted that someone else handed over the vehicle. Reluctantly someone else helped out after waiting another 30 minutes. BMW had my money and it was clearly more important to work on the next sales opportunity.
The second experience was part of a recall whereby I was told I would receive a second letter as to when it was my turn to book my vehicle in. Prior to the second letter my car nearly caught fire, whilst my family was inside, due to a melted EGR manifold (recall issue). BMW were quick to take it away out of sight. The next day I was told that it couldn't be looked at for 10 days! I asked for a courtesy car as this was too long for me to be without a car, but I was told that courtesy cars are not given out for this recall. Seriously?? Due to a BMW fault my car nearly caught fire with my family inside, can't look at it for over a week and this is the response I get!
When I did finally get my car back I was asked to complete a satisfaction survey of which I received a few weeks later (I am guessing this gives the customer time to cool down). I responded with my less than impressed customer experience with a so called premium brand. I received an email asking if I would be happy to have a call to discuss my responses. I was more than happy to do so. Oh what a surprise....I never received the call. I have left it this late to post this review to give BMW time to respond.
It's a nice car, but customer service seriously let's the brand down, to the point where it is unlikely that I would buy one again.

"Absolutely terrible customer service"
Absolutely terrible customer service. Bottom. Zero service. 30 March 2023 I requested certificate of conformity. Two weeks later no even answer. Just in case 3-rd of April 2023 I personally went to head office at Farnborough. Nothing. Zero help. Without certificate of conformity I cannot get PCO licence. Just one paper from BMW!!!!! I guess this certificate should be together with car. Why not???? Why this paper is so huge problem?????? Two weeks I am not able to work because of BMW!!!!! I have to pay car finance, insurance, pay bills....... BMW just ignore. I am very very disappointed with BMW. Before to buy, think properly

"Very Poor Customer Service"
I would have given this 0 stars but the system will only let me give 1 star. They call themselves the "ultimate driving experience" they are most definitely NOT the "ultimate customer service experience" dealers seem to be left to their own devices and the guardian of the marque will just sit it its all singing and all dancing HQ in Farnborough and enjoy the perks of company BMW's and lattes and fancy coffees from the on-site baristas and do nothing to ensure that the dealers are towing the line to protect the brand. You have an issue with a dealer, they know that BMW UK are not interested and they can get away with murder. They will give you a smirk and say "What are you going to do about it? Escalate it to BMW UK? Good luck! You take what we deem you are worthy of and be grateful for it". Escalation of issues to BMW UK will either be ignored or you will get a form email several weeks or months later saying "Nothing to with us. You need to go to your dealer". if you do have an issue that they cannot avoid, they will accuse you of lying and/or trying to defraud them. Their complaints procedure is a joke. Always take legal advice and prepared to go to court or to the regulators because that's is the only way to get them to take you seriously as you are a joke to them. They assume that because they are BMW that they don't have to look after customers as they are beating the doors of the dealership down to throw money at them for their cars. They don't get that the customer does not see that the dealer is a franchise all they see is BMW the brand. When the dealer treats them like garbage they don't say "I'll never buy another car from ABC again" They say "I'll never buy another BMW again". I have seen several reviews on here saying "Don't buy a BMW, buy a Merc instead far better customer service and dealers". Its the same attitude BL had back in the 1970's and look what happened to BL. BMW UK deserves to go out of business for its lousy customer service. Buying the car is one thing, its how they look after their customers is also equally important

"Beware of BMW's extended warranty:"
Beware of BMW's extended warranty:
My X3's SoS flagged-up fault. I went to BMW. They said it was a fault with the battery associated with the SoS sensor and all types of batteries are not covered under the warranty I bought to safeguard against such unexpected faults. Although the battery costs not more than £30, the charge quoted for fitting a minuscule battery is £450. When buying the warranty, nothing is mentioned that almost all electrical and mechanical part is run by different forms of batteries associated with them, and none of them is covered. So if any electrical or mechanical fault occurs and it's the particular battery's fault, we must pay for the battery and the hefty fitting charge. The warranty does not explicitly state that a customer must pay for all hidden batteries associated with mechanical and electrical parts, including a hefty fitting charge of around £450. So I am not sure how many different batteries there are internally hidden for running the mechanical and electrical parts, what the expected life spans of those batteries are because even batteries have some form of warranty associated with their life span and how often a customer has to change them by paying the exorbitant fitting charges? These specific details should have been made explicit at the time of purchase of the warranty, rather than a general note that all batteries are not covered. Customers do not have ideas of the myriad of different batteries because, for us, the only battery we know is the main battery in the bonnet. I believe this is a classic case of MIS-SELLING. I will take this matter to Ombudsman so that others don't fall for it. Please beware before buying their car and their warranty.
